What an online Will or Living Trust actually costs

One payment covers the documents. Two things sit outside that price, and both are on this page rather than waiting in a checkout screen. No subscription, no renewal, nothing charged for keeping your plan in your account.

Will plan

4 documents. For families who want their wishes on record without paying for a structure they do not need.

$199

one person, paid once  ·  $249 for a couple

  • Last Will & Testament
  • Advance Care Directive
  • Power of Attorney
  • HIPAA Authorization

Priced separately: online notarization, $75 for one person or $100 for a couple.

Trust plan

8 documents, including all four from the Will plan. For homeowners and anyone who wants assets to pass without a court process.

$499

one person, paid once  ·  $599 for a couple

  • Revocable Living Trust
  • Schedule of Assets, Funding Instructions
  • Certification of Trust
  • Pour-Over Will
  • Advance Care Directive, Power of Attorney, HIPAA

Priced separately: online notarization, $80 for one person or $115 for a couple. Moving a property into the Trust is optional at $399 plus your county’s recording fee.

What people actually pay

Plan price plus notarization, which is what it takes to walk away with signed, sealed documents. These are the four situations people arrive in.

Your situationPlanNotarizationTotal
One person, Will plan$199$75$274
Couple, Will plan$249$100$349
One person, Trust plan$499$80$579
Couple, Trust plan$599$115$714

Moving a home into the Trust adds $399 plus your county’s recording fee. A couple on the Trust plan transferring one property therefore lands at $1,113 plus that county fee, which is set by the recorder’s office and not by us.

How it works

From the first question to a sealed PDF

The same four steps whichever plan you pick. You are never handed off without being told, and nothing is filed or signed while you are looking the other way.

Four-panel overview of the estate-planning process and services.
1

Answer the questions

Plain questions about your family, your property and who you trust. No legal vocabulary to decode.

2

Read every draft

Your documents are generated and you read them in full. Change anything that is wrong before you go a step further.

3

Sign with an online notary

You verify your identity, then meet a commissioned notary on video. The session runs 10 to 15 minutes, witnesses included.

4

Get your sealed PDFs

Signed, notarized and sealed documents land in your account. Download them, print them, or share them with the people who need them.

Changing things later

Edits are free for the first 30 days. After that, unlimited edits for life cost $39, charged once.

That matters more than it sounds. A marriage, a new child, a house, a move to another state: each one is a reason to reopen the plan, and none of them should come with a fresh bill.

What you are never charged for

  • Answering the first questions and seeing what your plan would contain.
  • Keeping your documents in your account, for as long as you want them there.
  • A monthly or annual fee. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
  • Witnesses at the notary session. They come with it.
